ICID Plus Twin Wall Flue, is ideal not only for traditional stoves but also for pellet stoves, biomass appliances, mini/micro CHP and even condensing boilers capable of withstanding positive pressure. The system is designed so that the outer case is load bearing and the inner liner is free to expand independently, therefore thermal expansion is accommodated within each and every joint of the system. Available in two versions with a choice of either a bright annealed or a matt black painted stainless steel outer case.

Condensing gas and oil appliances, with continuous operating temperatures up to 200°C, short firing up to 250°C and overpressure up to 200Pa at the appliance outlet are also possible. For open or closed stoves with continuous operating temperatures of up to 450°C.

Easy installation & safe operation

The connection system with socket joint and integrated double-rail clamping strips ensures fast and secure assembly thanks to the double screw connection. No thermal insulation or welding work is required on site. The surface temperature is very low and the handy dimensions with low weight have high stability, yet are easy to install.

High quality

ICID PLUS comes with high-quality materials as standard: the inner pipe is made of 316L stainless steel and the outer casing of electroplated stainless steel. The high-temperature-resistant mineral fibre insulation provides effective insulation. Both the inner pipe and the outer casing are butt-welded throughout.

The structure of the system

The system ICID PLUS features a twist-lock bayonet jointing mechanism, secured by a locking band, for easy assembly. Its advanced, corrosion-resistant design uses laser-welded 316L stainless steel for both the inner liner and outer case, providing durability and long-term resilience. The 25mm layer of high-density mineral wool insulation helps maintain optimal flue gas temperatures, enhancing start-up efficiency, improving draught, and reducing condensation. With a low external case temperature, the inner liner is designed for free thermal expansion through the female collar, accommodating even extreme conditions like soot fires. An inward bead at the female end of the inner liner acts as a capillary break, preventing moisture ingress at the joints. For Positive Pressure (P) applications, optional lip seal packs are available, featuring a quick-fit female lip seal and grease sachet for easy adaptation.
