A safe chimney system

Aside from design, safety is also important when realising a fire place or stove. Ontop is ISO 9001-certified. All products of Ontop and our Metaloterm systems have a CE marking, issued by  notified bodies. When we were developing our systems, we wanted the assembly to be as simple as possible. However, the realisation of a chimney or flue system should always be done by a qualified installer.

For fire places and wood stoves, the twin-wall systems Metaloterm AT and Metaloterm MF offer high-quality chimneys. Metaloterm AT comes with a 30-year guarantee, even after a chimney fire. Unprecedented safety!  Moreover, for wood-fire stoves Ontop included the EcoStream in its range: flue gases ventilator/draft regulator with a soot separator for an improved draft and cleaner flue gases, and the Twinflue: a concentric system for stoves that combines the air inlet and flue gases outlet.

Sustainable heating with a wood stove. Is that even possible? Our society asks for ever less emissions. A proper way of burning wood can help to achieve this. But Ontop took it further. Our innovation, the EcoStream, is a flue gas ventilator/draft regulator and soot separator in one that not only ensures a proper draft but also catches soot, resulting in lower emission levels and less odours. The soot is subsequently washed away by rain water.

For gas stoves, the internationally renowned concentric system Metaloterm US is the perfect solution. It allows combined pipes for buildings in which multiple stoves are connected to one single flue.
